MARii CEO – Autoshow Will Be Held Annually, More Follow-Up Shows
The Malaysia Autoshow 2023 is entering its second day today as the show’s organiser, the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics & IoT Institute (MARii), announced that they have recorded more than 32,000 attendees for the opening day of the show.
Newly-appointed MARii CEO Azrul Reza Aziz
Commemorating this momentous feat, MARii CEO Azrul Reza Aziz expresses his gratitude to all exhibitors, media teams, and vendors who participated in this year’s auto show, after more than three years of absence due to the pandemic.
As for the future Malaysia Autoshows, the MARii boss said the firm is set to stick back to the pre-pandemic plans, with the auto show taking place on either an annual or biennial basis, depending on the situation.

Mr. Azrul also added that for the upcoming Malaysia Autoshow, the firm is planning to expand the event further by including more industry players like component manufacturers, especially those stemming from the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector.
To make the show more educational and purposeful, MARii will also include more engagement sessions with industry leaders, talks and seminars with government agencies and more, with the members of the public allowed to participate in the discussion.
In an attempt to build the hype for upcoming motor shows, the firm will look into creating or organising pocket or small events like promotional events, mini roadshows or even conferences, with all leading up to the main auto show itself.
This year’s Malaysia Autoshow comprises of up to five separate showcases namely the Malaysia EV Show, Malaysia Bike Show, Malaysia Car Accessories Show, Malaysia Bike Accessories Show, as well as the main event itself. The Malaysia Autoshow 2023 is happening from May 4 to 7, 2023, taking place from 10AM to 10PM at MAEPS, Selangor.
Visitors can purchase tickets priced RM15 for Malaysian and RM25 for non-Malaysian via Malaysia Autoshow’s official website, or you can just walk-in at the ticketing counter, located at the show’s entrance.
