Beckham Designs New Car Collection With Maserati

The former English professional footballer, who announced his collaboration with the luxury Italian car company in April 2021, has now curated the first edition of the Fuoriserie DB Essentials collection.

Cars were "a big part of his childhood" and family vacations, according to the 48-year-old.

Beckham reimagined two classic models inspired by his love of the classic Trident brand and traditional bespoke men's tailoring.

The 1967 Maserati Ghibli coupe was the father-of-four's first choice for the new collection, with a tan leather interior and a 'night interaction' blue exterior.

He then chose the 1986 Maserati Quattroporte Royale, with a'verde royale' (dark green) exterior and brown leather upholstery on the inside.

Both of Beckham's designs will be available only on the MC20 supercar and the new SUV Grecale, both of which are equipped with 4-cylinder hybrid powertrains, bringing the brand closer to its 2025 goal of running entirely on electricity.
