Would You Fancy This New VinFast VF3 Mini EV SUV?

VinFast unveils its latest electric model, and it's a mini EV SUV christened as the VF3.
Vietnamese start-up automaker VinFast sees its line up grow a little larger today with the additional of – ironically – its smallest offering to date. Pictured here is the new VinFast VF3 mini EV SUV that boasts Suzuki Jimny-like styling and a footprint smaller than the Fiat 500.
So how pint-sized is this mini EV SUV? Very. Sources online report that the VF3 sits 3,114 MM long, making it a good half-a-metre shorter than the 3,395 MM-long Suzuki Jimny, which somewhat conforms with Japanese ‘Kei’ class standards. It’s also some 450 MM shorter than the Fiat 500 supermini.
Despite its miniature stature, what’s amazing to note is VinFast’s claims of the VF3 being able to accommodate up to 5 occupants on board.

Though only a rendering, it's plain to see the quirky yet minimalist styling of the VF3's cabin which, accoding to VinFast, can accomodate up to 5 occupants.
VinFast were also keen to highlight the VF3’s a minimalist cabin design primed with a two-spoke steering wheel, digital instrument display (no central infotainment screen), and few physical controls interfaces. Also noted by its makers are the eye-catching design touches of VF3 like it blocky shape, "ample" ground clearance, black 16-inch wheels, and squared headlights.
Beyond which, VinFast has kept mum regarding the VF3’s specs, including what actually powers this new mini EV SUV offering. For the latter, the start-up only mentions “an electric motor and battery that offer an impressive travel distance". In short, your guesses about specs here are as good as ours.
Presently, the VF3 is designed and built for the Vietnamese market primarily, and reports online indicate that first deliveries are slated to commence in the third quarter (Q3) of next year (2024). Would you rather fancy this over a certain Chinese-made alternative that also boasts Suzuki Jimny-esque styling?
