Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.35: 3 New Cars, New Music Rally Modes And More

Heads up Gran Turismo 7 fans, the Playstation-exclusive driving title has just released it new Update 1.35 patch. As per previous updates, it brings forth a raft of new additions all around in the game plus a host of improvements.

Starting with the most exciting news, three new cars have been added. Two of which are legendary Japanese rally-reps in the form of the 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR and the 2004 Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STI (Version 8). Capping the trio off is the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar.

The priciest of the trio is the Aston Martin hypercar as it commands a price tag of 4,000,000 in-game credits and it’s available through the Brand Central pavilion. It features a stratospheric 6.5-litre nat-asp Cosworth V12 primed with a KERS system to deliver a whopping 1,100 HP.

Moving on to the Japanese rally-reps duo, these kindred spirits also double up as arch rivals, albeit from two separate eras. Both harness turbocharged 4-cyl hearts and trick all-wheel-drive suites, as per Group A homologation rules for the World Rally Championship (WRC).

The addition of the 2004 Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STI (Version 8) (left) and the legendary 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR (right) should thrill any classic rally fans.

Both cars can be purchased via the Used Car section with the Evo III tagged at 100,000 in-game credits, whilst the Impreza commands a more affordable 42,000 in-game credits. Alternatively, the latter Subaru can be obtained brand new via Brand Central as well where it commands 50,000 in-game credits instead.

New cars aside, a series of new single-player racing events have been added, along with 59 new locations for the Scapes photography mode, as well as two new Extra Menu books dedicated for the newly added Japanese rally-reps mentioned.

Up to six new Music Rally Challenges have been added through Update 1.35, which marks a surprise new addition as this mode hasn't seen changes since the game first released.

Surprisingly, Update 1.35 also sees developers Polyphony Digital update the game’s Music Rally arcade segment too with six new challenges added. This mode of the game proved popular amongst players, especially during its pre-release period.

Measuring a total of 1.19 GB for the Playstation 5 version, and 1.15 GB for the Playstation 4 version, Update 1.35 for Gran Turismo 7 is now rolled out in full, and players should be able to access the update in-game too.
