Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) recently unveiled a new monthly staggered ticketing system that would go into effect on July 30. Ticket sales will begin on the 30th of each month throughout the year under this new model.
Ticket sales are now available until December 31, 2023. Customers can book tickets for travel up to January 2024 using the new method beginning July 30. As a result, on August 30, 2023, ticket sales for travel until February 20, 2024 will begin.

This strategy, according to KTMB, will allow commuters to plan their excursions up to six months in advance, making it handy for vacations, 'balik kampung' visits, and other travel arrangements, especially during public holidays and important festivals.
Ticket sales for ETS and KTM Intercity services will begin at noon, while tickets for Shuttle Tebrau services will begin at 10 a.m., according to the official announcement.

Customers can purchase tickets through the KTMB Mobile application (KITS) or the KTMB website. The public can contact the KTMB call centre at 03-2267 1200 or visit the KTMB's main social media platforms with any questions.
