2024 Porsche Cayenne facelift is now open for booking in Malaysia!

Porsche Malaysia, represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), has opened the order books for the new 2024 Porsche Cayenne facelift model. Starting from today, customers can place an online booking for the new Cayenne via the brand’s new digital platform.

Locally-assembled (CKD) in Inokom’s facility in Kulim, Kedah, the Malaysian-spec Cayenne facelift also gets the same updates and add-on options as the rest of the globe, with all the CKD models will be offered with the Sport Chrono Package as standard.

On the exterior, the facelifted Cayenne gets new matrix LED headlights with over 32,000 pixels per cluster, redesigned front hood, as well as slightly flared-out front fenders. At the rear, the new model gains new LED taillights design with full-width light bar, slightly-tweaked rear bumper accents with low-mounted number plate.

Three exterior colourways are offered for the new Cayenne facelift

Topping-off the exterior update are a slew of new colourways including Chromite Black Metallic, Carrara White Metallic and Quarzite Grey Metallic, as well as newly-designed 20-inch Cayenne wheels, on top of the optional 21- and 22-inch ones.

Beneath its body panel, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne gets a bevy of gizmo updates for its driving system. This includes the new Porsche Active Suspension Management damper system for its new 2-chamber 2-valve adaptive air suspension, Power Steering Plus, Front and Rear Park Assist with Surround View, as well as the addition of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) function for its ADAS suite.

Things have also changed as we get inside the new Cayenne facelift, as it gains some new tech and comfort equipment. For starters, the front seats now come with 14-way electric power adjustments with memory package as standards, as well as Porsche crest embossments on the headrests. Meanwhile, the rear windows are now equipped with electric roll-up sun blinds.

Aside from those, the Cayenne facelift also boasts few new tech bits that now come standard across the board. This includes things like the curved 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, Bose surround sound system and 15-watt wireless charging pad.

The facelifted Cayenne's turbocharged V6 mill gets a higher state-of-tune than its predecessor

Beneath its newly-designed sculpted front hood, the Cayenne facelift hides the same 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 mill that gains a new state-of-tune. Now delivering 353 PS and 500 NM (13 PS and 50 NM more than before), this six-pot mill is mated to the same 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission.

Starting from RM599,999, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne facelift is now available for booking via Porsche Malaysia’s new digital platform, where the first 250 bookings will get a special key fob with matching colourways as their model. From this new website, buyers can customise their Cayenne models with a slew of personalised options, including the aforementioned 21-inch and 22-inch wheel design options, rear-seat infotainment system, as well as a slew of Tequipment accessories.

With Inokom’s Kulim plant already in full-swing for the new model production, deliveries for the 2024 Porsche Cayenne facelift are expected to commence by the end of 2023.
