The PJ Half Marathon 2023 organisers have announced a route closure in conjunction with this weekend's marathon, which will take place on September 24, 2023. Concurrent with the marathon, MBPJ will host the first Asia Pacific Youth Folklore Festival 2023 from September 21st to September 26th.

There would be four (4) run categories: 30KM, 21KM, 10KM, and 5KM, which would be waved off staggered beginning at 4AM with the race cut-off time set at 7AM. Although the MBPJ has not made any road closure announcements, with the exception of the closures of Jalan Yong Shook Lin and Jalan Tengah for the Youth Folklore Festival, we can assume that a large number of roads shown on the 21KM route will be either fully or partially closed in preparation for the run on September 23rd night.

The race would start at Laman MBPJ, in front of Dewan Sivik MBPJ, on Jalan Yong Shook Lin. Runners are urged to park their vehicles only in the designated parking areas at MBPJ Parking Complex A and C to avoid disrupting traffic.
Members of the public are also asked to plan their travel, obey all road signs, and follow instructions from staffs stationed at all key intersections.
