Porsche Design Honours the Porsche 911 S/T With Owner-Exclusive Watch

Six decades after the iconic 911 model's introduction, Porsche commemorates the occasion with the introduction of a remarkable special edition - the Porsche 911 S/T. This modern-day classic stands out with its meticulously crafted lightweight design and an unfiltered, visceral driving experience, with production limited to just 1,963 units as an ode to the year the original made its debut.

The classy Chronograph 1 is handcrafted exclusively for Porsche 911 S/T owners at Porsche's watch factory in Solothurn, Switzerland. The Chronograph 1 - 911 S/T combines optimal functionality with the highest standards and precise craftsmanship, echoing the DNA of the first Porsche 911 and the original Chronograph 1, both designed by Prof. F. A. Porsche.

The uncoated, sandblasted titanium case of the chronograph reflects the lightweight concept of the 911 S/T. The black dial and bezel ring are reminiscent of the historic display instruments found on the 911 S/T.
A red number "60" on the minute scale, a glowing phosphorous green bilingual day and date display, and a silver-printed gear-shift diagram are also notable features. This timepiece is powered by the COSC-certified Porsche Design WERK 01.240 movement with a flyback function, which replicates the performance of the 911 S/T's six-speed manual gearbox and high-revving naturally aspirated engine.

The rotor, visible through the seven-layer antireflective sapphire-crystal case back, is inspired by the sport alloy wheels found on the 911 S/T. The Chronograph 1 - 911 S/T will be available to owners beginning August 2, 2023, from Porsche Centres and Porsche Design Stores, and will retail for $13,500.
