Nissan Malaysia 2023 Price List Update – Navara Increased by RM3.5K
As we’re entering the new year, many automakers are updating the price lists for their respective fleets in order to reflect changes in the global market and so on. Joining fellow marques such as Toyota, BMW and MINI in reviewing the price list for its models is Nissan.
Nissan Malaysia’s 2023 price list update sees the price for its pick-up truck, the Navara, increased by about RM3,500 for the lowest two variants. Being the sole model to be fully-imported (CBU) from Thailand, said price increase is somewhat expected, judging by the fluctuating forex rates in the past few months.
OTR price sans insurance and tax
For the year 2023, local Nissan vanguard Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) will continue selling all six variants of the Navara. The latest price list for the lowest two variants of the 2023 Navara begins at RM95,600 for the 2.5L Single Cab manual transmission (MT) model and RM114,600 for the Double Cab 2.5L SE MT
Meanwhile, the rest of the double cab models’ price remained unchanged, starting from RM120,600 for the 2.5L SE automatic transmission (AT), RM130,600 for the 2.5L V AT, RM142,900 for the 2.5L VL AT, and RM148,600 for the range-topping Pro-4X AT variant.
All of the Navara facelift models are powered by a 2.5-litre YD25 turbodiesel mill with variant-dependent state of tunes. The lowest spec 2.5L Single Cab Navara outputs about 160 HP and 403 NM, while the top-spec Pro-4X model boasts a higher power output of 187 HP and 450 NM.
As for the rest of Nissan models such as the Serena S-Hybrid, X-Trail SUV and Almera saloon, the prices remain unchanged, as of writing. This is possibly due to the fact that the rest of the Nissan models are locally-manufactured (CKD) in both Nissan Malaysia’s Segambut and Serendah plants, unlike the Thai-made Navara pick-ups.
In the case of Nissan’s bread-winning sedan, the 2023 Almera retains its post-SST waiver price starting at RM83,888 for the 1.0 Turbo VL spec, while the up-specced 1.0 Turbo VLT variant commands a higher price tag at RM95,888 – almost touching the RM100,000 ceiling.
