Just last month we reported on the launch of the Hello smart App that was released by the folks at Pro-Net as a support structure to all potential future owner of the smart #1 that is to be officially priced prior to its delivery to the first batch of customers this November.

Thanks to clever's partnership with Gentari, Yinson, and EVC, the Hello smart App would serve as a "finder" for the smart EV charging network in addition to providing access for vehicles and community assistance. All owners of smart cars would have access to the CPO trio's chargers through the Hello smart App, including the ability to pay for your charge.

Now besides this, it seems Yinson Greentech (YGT) would also be incharge of erecting DC charging facilities at smart dealerships. We come to this assumption based on images shared by smart Penang - Eleganz Lifestyle on Facebook that shows a single dual (2) gun DC Charger located at its dealership and might we add the livery on the charger does make it look so classy.

According to details from smart Penang and Plugshare, the DC Charger which is located at 169, Jalan Jelutong, Jelutong, 11600 George Town, Pulau Pinang would be the highest output DC Charger in the Pearl Island and more importantly is open to all EV’s NOT only smart cars.

The smart Penang - Eleganz Lifestyle 120kW DC Charger can be accessed through the Hello smart and ChargEV mobile App 24/7. Based on details on the Hello smart App, each gun of the 2-gun DC charger is capable of 120kW output but expect this to be halved if two (2) EV’s are charging simultaneously.

Charges for these DC Chargers are calculated by minute basis at a rather fair RM1.60/minute. smart claims its #1 would be able to juice up from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes at this facility.
