He went on to say that Mydin Hypermarket understands that moving in the direction of a greener and more sustainable future is the best course of action as the world is forced to deal with the problems of climate change and the rising cost of gasoline. Datuk Wira (Dr) Hj Ameer continues by stating that the Mydin Hypermarket chain keeps on pursuing EV charging facilities despite the low usage of EVs, particularly among its client segments, as it perceives a need for significant encouragement in order for development in EV adoption. He continues by saying that although Mydin Hypermarkets 48 EVCB (24 branches x 2 bay) is modest in comparison to the government's goal of installing 4000 charging points by 2024, it is nevertheless significant because everyone must contribute, no matter how tiny, to make the intended advancements.

The collaboration of the EV charging solutions with Mydin is a key step for ChargeSini to actively contribute to the growth of EV charging facilities and networks in Malaysia, according to Mr. Eric Lim, Sales Director of ChargeSini.
In addition, he stated that ChargeSini intended to construct 500 to 1,000 EV charging stations in Malaysia this year. ChargeSini has so far installed 320 EVCB successfully in more than 100 locations. The establishment of EV charging stations in tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, malls, and condominiums is where ChargeSini will concentrate its efforts.
