Launched: Suzuki Swift Sport Silver Edition – RM145,900 OTR

New Suzuki Swift Sport Silver Edition arrives with special livery and upgraded equipment
Naza Eastern Motor, sole distributor of Suzuki cars in Malaysia has expanded its Swift Sport hatchback lineup today by launching the all-new Suzuki Swift Sport Silver Edition. This special edition Swift model arrives with a slew of cosmetic touch-ups, alongside some upgraded parts and features.

For starters, the Silver Edition model comes draped in a special Premium Metallic Silver hue with some contrasting black decals and red accents – making it akin to the super-rate Swift Sport Katana Edition we saw several years ago. Also primed at the exterior are a slew of carbon fibre finishes on its mirror caps, roof trims, and rear spoiler, plus a special Akrapovic carbon fibre exhaust tips.
Other than that, standard Swift Sport equipment like honeycomb front grille design, hidden rear door handles, snazzy polished 16-inch alloy wheels with double-spoke design and a roof-mounted rear spoiler can all be found in this special edition model.

More carbon fibre bits can be found inside the Swift Sport Silver Edition cabin, which includes the accents on its instrument panel, ventilator switch, as well as the door trims. On top of that, the cabin is also primed with an updated 10-inch central infotainment display by Soundstream, featuring both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Elsewhere, the cabin still comes with other equipment we saw on the standard Swift Sport model, including the semi-bucket seats embroidered with Suzuki Sport emblem, a slew of red accents, and many more.

The Swift Sport Silver Edition is powered by the same Boosterjet turbocharged mill as the standard model
On the powertrain front, the Swift Sport Silver Edition retains its sibling’s 1.4-litre 4-cyl turbocharged Boosterjet mill that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission to deliver 140 HP and 230 NM to its front wheels (FWD). Mated to Suzuki’s proprietary HEARTECT platform which has been fine-tuned with reinforced underbody rigidity, the Swift Sport promises sheer driving performance in a small, compact package.

Fully-imported (CBU) from Suzuki manufacturing plant in Japan, the all-new Suzuki Swift Sport Silver Edition is now available for booking at any authorised Suzuki Malaysia dealerships nationwide, with a price tag of RM145,900 on-the-road sans insurance.
