DC Handal 200kW Kempower DCFC At Wisma UOA Damansara II - Tap & Pay
-full_normal.webp)
It appears that Damansara Heights residents will soon be receiving a few more high-speed DCFCs. During all of this, the only DCFC that was available was the conveniently positioned 40kW ChargeSini unit at 10 Semantan Suites.
If you open the Plugshare App, you'll see that there aren't many EV chargers in this upscale neighbourhood. DC Mall offers 11kW AC facilities (3 EVCB), Wisma UOA II has a couple of 22kW while The Pavilion Damansara only has the Tesla destination chargers exclusively for Tesla users. There are also the AC chargers from ChargeSini at 10 Semantan Suites that complement their DCFCs.

Now thanks to DC Handal, four (4) new Kempower 200kW satellite DCFCs are all ready to go live just about anytime pending the necessary testing at the ground level of Wisma UOA Damansara II in Bukit Damansara. From our observation this setup would be very similar to that of UOA Business Park in Glenmarie.
These four Kempower satellite units which are rated at 200kW would modulate power delivery to the units depending on the state of charge (SOC) of the EVs plugged in.

As for the charging rate and payment method, it would be similar to the other DC Handal stations that we have covered before. Users can make hassle free payment via debit or credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or the JomCharge App and chargEV App. The charging rates meanwhile are fixed at RM1.50/kWh.

Simple to Operate: 1. Tap; 2. Pick A Charging Bay; 3. Enter Contact Details; 4. Tap/Swipe Card
Moreover, there would be a parking fee charged when entering the building where this facility is located, hence remember the 80% rule, top-up and leave to minimise the parking fees charge.

UPDATE - 13 NOVEMBER 2023
Based on our latest findings, this 200kW DCFC facility has just been turned-on a couple of hours ago. Perfect for holiday goers who are still in the area looking to juice-up before heading back to their destinations or for anyone bored enough to kill some time DCFC hunting/hopping testing and trying out all the available options out there.

The charging prices and payment method is as mentioned above. Do follow our socials and keep us updated if you had the chance to give this new DC Handal DCFC a try.
