Commuters, ETS Passengers Can Still Travel On KTMB Services

Passengers using the Electric Train Services (ETS) and Komuter can continue to use KTMB services by using a temporary shuttle bus to connect the Sungai Buloh and Serendah stations, says the chief executive officer of KTMB Group Datuk Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin.
According to Mohd Rani, all trains passing the Rawang station are impacted while restoration work is underway, hence the temporary service is in place. "The Komuter service on the KL Sentral-Tanjung Malim route will stop at the Sungai Buloh station. Meanwhile, the Tanjung Malim-KL Sentral route stops at the Serendah Station”
"Intermediary buses have been provided between the Sungai Buloh station and Serendah station," the CEO added at a press conference at the Rawang train station on Wednesday (Dec 13).

Mohd Rani stated that the ETS service on the Padang Besar-Gemas route would stop at Tanjung Malim station. Passengers will then be transported by intermediary buses from Tanjung Malim station to Sungai Buloh station, where they will continue their journey by train to KL Sentral and Gemas.
He also mentioned that passengers traveling on the Gemas-KL Sentral-Butterworth and Gemas-KL Sentral-Padang Besar routes can take the ETS train from KL Sentral to the Sungai Buloh station.
"Then they will proceed by bus to the Tanjung Malim station to continue their journey to their respective northern destinations by taking the unaffected ETS train route," he said.

For the record, train services have been disrupted due to a crane that fell on the tracks near the Rawang station at 5.55pm on Tuesday (Dec 12). Those who wish to get a refund may do so online and at the counter.
