ChargeSini Partners EDOTCO To Deploy EV Chargers At 203 Locations!

EDOTCO, a prominent telecommunication infrastructure company, has joined forces with ChargeSini.
Together with the latter innovative electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider, both parties seek to revolutionise the deployment landscape of EV infrastructure in the country.
The collaborative effort focuses on installing EV Charging Stations at building locations across the nation, utilising EDOTCO's existing In-Building Solutions (IBS) sites. Based on Agmo DataHub, ChargeSini ranks second in terms of plug count, having rolled out 599 in total.

According to Gayan Koralage, Director of Malaysia Business at EDOTCO Group, "With over 13,000 electric vehicles already on Malaysian roads, we expect an exponential increase to half a million by 2025." This growing demand highlights the need for widespread charging stations across the country.
He further added, “our infrastructures, which are easily accessible in strategic locations such as malls, airports, hospitals, universities, and roadside smart poles, seamlessly integrate with and support the growing EV ecosystem.” This initiative is part of EDOTCO's Value-Creation-Cadence framework and represents a significant step towards new revenue streams.

By leveraging its expertise in telecommunications infrastructure, EDOTCO plans to play a pivotal role in providing power connectivity and securing parking bays at the choiced sites, facilitating a seamless integration of EV Charging Stations into its established infrastructure.
Meanwhile, ChargeSini brings cutting-edge EV chargers and a sophisticated backend system to the table, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient solution for electric vehicle users.

The initial phase of the partnership entails deploying EV Charging Stations at 203 carefully selected locations, with a strategic emphasis on promoting sustainable urban mobility.
"This partnership represents a synergistic fusion of EDOTCO's extensive experience in telecommunications infrastructure and ChargeSini's cutting-edge approach to EV charging technology," said James Goh, CEO and Founder of ChargeSini, in light of this historic partnership.

He also added that these combined efforts aim to accelerate Malaysia's adoption of sustainable mobility, not just build more infrastructure. We are dedicated to greatly improving the EV landscape and coordinating our efforts with the country's vision for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future."
Both EDOTCO and ChargeSini envision an expansion strategy that taps into EDOTCO's existing infrastructure. Said effort will utilise poles in city centres nationwide with the objective of broadening the accessibility of electric vehicle charging across diverse markets.
This collaborative effort marks a significant stride toward achieving the national agenda outlined in the Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint 2021-2030. As a refresher, said initiative aims to install 10,000 public EV charging stations in Southeast Asia by 2025.
