BYD Malaysia Opens New 3S Centre in Melaka

BYD Malaysia has opened its latest 3S centre in Melaka, operated by dealer-partner Sing Kwung Motors.
BYD Malaysia has expanded its local dealer network today as the marque opens its latest dedicated 3S centre in Melaka. Operated by dealer partner Sing Kwung Motors, the new facility aims to provide comprehensive sales and after-sales services to BYD customers in the Southern Peninsula Malaysia region.
Located within the Malim Jaya industrial area, this new BYD 3S centre in Melaka will cater to the growing demand for BYD EVs while providing ample after-sales support to existing BYD customers in the region. The rapid establishment of this facility also signifies BYD’s commitment to expanding its footprint in Malaysia, with the automaker targeting to have 30 dealers in its network by the end of 2024.


Customers who visit this new 3S centre in Melaka can check out the new BYD Seal EV saloon (left) and the BYD Dolphin EV hatchback (right).
Customers who visit the BYD Sing Kwung Motors 3S Centre will be provided a seamless experience for their after-sales service, as all the service bays located in the facility are manned by trained professionals. Meanwhile, prospective customers who are keen to size up on BYD Malaysia’s latest offering will be assisted by trained sales experts who are ready to support them in their buying decisions.

Commenting on this momentous occasion, Sime Darby Motors (SDM) Managing Director of Southeast Asia Jeffrey Gan said, “We are thrilled to introduce our newest 3S centre in Melaka, underscoring our dedication to serving our customers in Malaysia.”
“This milestone reflects BYD’s ongoing commitment to provide top-notch products and services while contributing to the sustainable development of transportation in the region,” he added.
Meanwhile, BYD Sing Kwung Motors managing director Ng Sin Yean said, “The newly opened 3S centre will offer a range of services, including sales consultations, vehicle test drives, and comprehensive after-sales support. Customers can explore BYD’s latest lineup of electric vehicles, which are renowned for their cutting-edge technology, superior performance, and eco-friendliness."
