BMW Group Malaysia has partnered with Gentari to install new EV charging stations at The Exchange TRX, thus demonstrating their commitment to improving Malaysia's EV Charging infrastructure.

These new EV Charging stations, located at The Exchange TRX Mall's subterranean car park, includes thirteen 22 kW AC chargers, all optimised for quick charging. Five of these are on the Premium Parking level, while the remaining eight are on Level B1.

It is crucial to note that these chargers are only available during the mall's operating hours from 10AM to 10PM daily. As for charging costs, things are set RM0.25 per minute.

Benjamin Nagel, MD of BMW Group Malaysia, expressed his delight for Malaysia's progress toward electromobility adoption, particularly in densely populated areas. He emphasised the significance of a strong charging infrastructure to facilitate this expansion. He also added, "Through our partnership with Gentari, we are excited to further our commitment by introducing advanced charging technology in key urban areas, catering to the evolving needs of our customers."
