ChargeSini has inked into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with KTC Arkz Group Sdn Bhd (KTC) at Sungei Wang Plaza, KL recently for the rights to set up EV Charging stations at its forthcoming SOFO project, located at Seri Iskandar Heights about 40 km southwest of Ipoh, Perak.
Via this MoU, ChargeSini will be tasked to install 40 EV charging bays (EVCB) on the premises, comprising a mix of AC and DC chargers for the convenience of SOFO project residents and patrons. While the chargers will be operated and managed by ChargeSini, KTC would own and administer the whole parking system at the premise.

The two 20-storey high-rise buildings will be constructed on a 4.3-acre site which will cater for the needs of the growing township, which acts as Perak’s education hub with two university campuses – Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and the branch campus of Universiti Teknologi MARA – and four other training institutes — Kolej Profesional MARA, Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara, Institut Latihan KEMAS and Kolej Vokasional MARA.
This project is only 17 KM from the nearest KTM station in Batu Gajah, 20 KM to entrance and exit of the West Coast Expressway, 38 KM from the PLUS Expressway, and 1 KM from the Ipoh-Lumut Highway.

The MoU was signed by ChargeSini CEO James Goh and KTC Group CEO Chong Khin Thin. During the MoU signing, it was also revealed that ChargeSini has already deployed 701 EVCBs across the country, with 24 of them now in the state of Perak.
Furthermore, under the terms of this MoU, ChargeSini would grant KTC access to its proprietary cloud-based control system, allowing KTC to access all aspects of the business from a CPO perspective, including the payment gateway, power distribution, management dashboard, and control centre.

The complete ecosystem described above would also be embedded in Seri Iskandar Heights' facilities management mobile application, allowing SOFO residents to easily access all of the building's features and services.
