All-new Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe marked its Malaysian debut earlier this week.
Besides the face-lifted GLS flagship SUVs duo and the S63 E Performance super-PHEV limo, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) also took the opportunity to preview another new offering from its ‘2024 Dream Cars Collection’ that debuted yesterday at NZ Wheels, Bangsar – the all-new CLE Coupe.
As a refresher, the CLE Coupe is all-new from the ground up, and it was revealed July last year as the direct successor of both the C- and E-Class Coupe duo. Bearing a new C236 chassis code, MBM has also opened registration of interest (ROI) online for the model back in Feb this year.

Yesterday, the firm revealed the sole specification it will offer said model in – CLE 300 4Matic. This is the mid-specced variant of the coupe that harnesses a peppier 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbocharged mild-hybrid (MHEV) heart outputting 258 HP and 400 NM.
Drive goes to all four wheels via the three-point star’s 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic box and 4Matic all-wheel-drive (AWD) suite, altogether enabling this stylish and posh new GT to despatch the 0-100 KM/H sprint in just 6.2 seconds whilst enroute towards an electronically-capped 250 KM/H V-Max.
It is also worth noting that this variant of the CLE sees its chassis laced with both Dynamic Body Control adjustable suspension plus a rear-wheel-steering (RWS) suite.
