ASEAN’s First Porsche Experience Centre Set To Open In Singapore

Porsche has selected Singapore as next site to establish its 11th Porsche Experience Centre (PEC). This will also stand as the first PEC established in the ASEAN region.
German sportscar marque Porsche has announced that Singapore will be the site where the latest Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) will be established. This is set to become the brand’s 11th experience centre worldwide, and its first in the greater ASEAN region.
The announcement was made recently during the Tourism Industry Conference 2024 by Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations in Singapore, Grace Fu. The facility will be located just 20 minutes away from Changi Airport, one of the world's busiest aviation hubs, and close to the upcoming Aviation Park MRT station along the planned Cross Island Line.
With its establishment, the new PEC Singapore will add vibrancy to the future Changi Precinct as it will host thrilling activities for families, as well as dynamic experiences for both local and regional car enthusiasts.

“I am delighted that we are building our 11th such facility in Singapore, an amazing city where innovation and entrepreneurial spirit thrive. It is only natural that we build this new PEC Singapore with these same principles in mind, aiming to create innovative and unforgettable encounters with our sports cars” said Porsche AG's Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing, Detlev von Platen.
Hannes Ruoff, CEO of Porsche Asia Pacific, emphasised the strategic significance of Singapore as a hub in Southeast Asia (ASEAN), highlighting the country's pivotal role as a gateway to the thriving Southeast Asian market. In fact, Porsche elected to host the global debut of its all-new and all-electric Macan model in said island republic earlier this year.

Set to open in 2027, PEC Singapore will house a 2 KM-long dynamic handling track, which stands as one of the centre's many planned attractions.
Additionally, PEC Singapore, which will open its doors starting 2027, is set to house a 2 KM-long dynamic handling track, which will perfectly showcase the prowess of Porsche sportscars. The facility will also have a fully-integrated, high-capacity after-sales facility - a first-of-its-kind feature too.
Beyond which, themed exhibitions, periodically changing display cars from the Porsche Museum, immersive racing simulators, and a variety of dining options, catering to various enthusiast interests and ensuring an unforgettable experience for all, are some of the facility’s other key highlights.
Moreover, PEC Singapore’s fleet will feature a significant number of electric vehicles (EVs), thus aligning with Porsche's global net carbon neutral targets by 2030, as well as the Singapore Green Plan 2030 initiative. KR
