Leading execs from both CCB and ESnet Academy together at their recent MOU signing ceremony.
Leading local Mercedes-Benz dealers Cycle & Carriage Bintang (CCB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with partners ESnet Academy. Through which, both firms seek to enhance career opportunities and development initiatives for young professionals in the automotive industry.
The partnership aims to create an environment that nurtures talent and provides practical opportunities for graduates interested in pursuing careers within the automotive industry.
Through this agreement, CCB is poised to offer internships, hold workshops for career development, arrange for networking events for recent graduates and professionals in the field, and investigate collaborative research or innovation initiatives on improvements in the automotive industry.
“By nurturing young talent, we are investing in the future of the industry and empowering the next generation of professionals. Through our collaboration with ESnet Academy, we are building a supportive ecosystem where graduates can thrive and excel, driving innovation and success in the automotive sector”, said Thomas Tok, CEO of CCB.
Together, both CCB and ESnet Academy have agreed to collaborate and develop initiatives that will enhance career opportunities for automotive industry graduates.
Partners ESnet Academy will play a crucial role in this collaboration by recruiting young talents, providing study grants, and offering add-on body and paint modules tailored specifically for Cycle & Carriage in Malaysia as part of their syllabus.
Sam Chang, MD of ESnet Academy, also added that this collaboration will enable its students to acquire real-world experience and build critical skills that will be useful when they transition from being students to competent professionals by fusing our educational expertise with CCB industry knowledge.
Both institutions have initiated the first phases of their partnership and are actively working on implementing programs for mutual benefit. This includes project consultations, staff training initiatives, facilitating staff and student attachments, establishing knowledge base centers, and exploring additional areas of cooperation.
Together, CCB and ESnet Academy jointly emphasised their commitment towards ensuring the success of this collaboration and look forward to making a positive impact on the future of the Malaysian automotive industry through this collaboration. KR
