G60 BMW 520i CKD Price Announced – RM332,800

BMW Group Malaysia has announced the official pricing for the all-new G60 BMW 520i CKD, starting from RM332,800 onwards.
Following its inaugural public debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 (MAS 2024) last month, BMW Group Malaysia has officially announced the price for the all-new, G60-gen BMW 520i sedan. Locally-assembled (CKD) at BMW Malaysia's Inokom Kulim plant in Kedah, the sole ICE-powered G60 5 Series model is now on sale in Malaysia for RM332,800 on-the-road.

Based on the new G60-gen BMW 5 Series model, the new 520i is essentially the baseline, petrol-powered model for the new Bimmer executive sedan model, where it gets some similar design cues as its all-electric twin launched last year, the BMW i5 eDrive40.

The 520i CKD is powered by a familiar 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol engine with an MHEV setup.
Instead of electric motors, the 520i gets its motivation from a familiar 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol mild hybrid (MHEV) mill rated at 208 HP and 330 NM. Said MHEV mill is hooked to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to its rear wheels (RWD) for a decent century sprint time of 7.5 seconds, en route to its 230 KM/H V-Max.

Positioned as the baseline model for the G60 5 Series lineup in Malaysia, the 520i benefits from several basic kits and equipment packages. This includes the 19-inch aerodynamic wheels, the BMW Curved Display module powered by the latest BMW OS 8.5, the BMW Driving Assistant Plus basic ADAS kit, and many more.

Priced at RM332,800 on-the-road, the all-new G60 BMW 520i CKD is now open for booking, with a 2-year standard vehicle warranty. On top of that, customers of the new 520i CKD will also receive a complete BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience, which includes both the BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, as well as the BMW Service Online.
Buyers who opt for the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive package worth RM26,900 will get a 5-year extended vehicle warranty plus a complete service package, which brings the grand total of the new 520i to RM359,700.
On top of that, the new BMW 520i CKD is offered with a special Easy Drive Financing Plan by BMW Group Finance Service Malaysia, with monthly rates starting from RM3,881 onwards. Customers who registered for this Easy Drive Financing Plan before June 30, 2024, will receive a special cash rebate worth up to RM10,000.
