New MINI Model Launch Headlines 'The New MINI Family' Event This Month

New generation MINI models showcased at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 earlier this year. This is set to grow with another addition this month debuting at 'The New MINI Family Event'.

BMW Group Malaysia’s MINI Malysia arm is set to expand its local line-up further with at least one new model launch slated for this month. Said new model debut will be the headline at ‘The New MINI Family’ launch event that takes place at JioSpace, PJ on Saturday, July 13 from 9:30AM to 8:30PM.

The firm remains tight-lipped on what model it intends to debut at said event, but the official event flyer issued with today’s announcement clearly hints at one – the new and all-electric MINI Cooper SE. It is set to join alongside three other new generation MINI models that debuted during the Malaysia Autoshow 2024.

As a refresher, BMW Group Malaysia chose said auto expo organised by MARii to launch the latest fourth-generation (J01) MINI Cooper in combustion (ICE) form, which is currently open for orders with a tentative price tag of RM280,000.

Alongside it came the new third-gen and all-electric (U25) MINI Countryman SE ALL4, as well as the ICE-powered JCW Countryman ALL4. Both are also opened for orders now with tentative price tags of RM260,000 and RM399,000 respectively.

Aside from new model launch and showcase, ‘The New MINI Family’ event is also set to feature open test-drives, MINI-themed games with exclusive prizes and MINI merchandise up for grabs, as well as new interactive digital experiences hosted through the Brand and Product Zone.
