PRO-NET Seeks To Expand Proton e.MAS Dealership Network

PRO-NET revealed that is has established an initial network of 18 dealerships for the Proton e.MAS sub brand, and the firm aims to have a total of 30 dealerships by 2025. 


As detailed prior, Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd, or better known as PRO-NET, has been tasked to operate and develop the Proton e.MAS electric vehicle (EV) sub-brand.

Ahead of its market arrival slated for later this year, PRO-NET is now in the midst of building a dedicated dealership network for said sub-brand. Earlier today, PRO-NET revealed that it has already established an initial network comprised of 18 dealerships operated by 16 dealers nationwide.

PRO-NET notes that 17 of which are strategically located across Peninsular Malaysia – three in Kuala Lumpur, four in Selangor state, two in Johor, three in Perak, two in Penang, and one each in both Kelantan and Pahang states. Over in East Malaysia, the firm currently has one dealer appointed in Sabah.

Though this is already a sizeable portfolio to begin with, PRO-NET has expressed its intent on growing it further. “This initiative marks our commitment to building greater trust among our customers, and we are determined to become the segment leader for national cars in the EV sector," said Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET.

PRO-NET is now welcoming application from businesses from key areas and regions listed above who are keen to be apart of this growing network.


More specifically though, PRO-NET is now seeking applications from interested businesses keen to join this growing Proton e.MAS network. Key areas and regions of interest stipulated by PRO-NET for this effort includes Alor Setar, Kuala Terengganu, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Seremban, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Batu Pahat, Muar, Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Sandakan and Tawau.

“Our dealerships are not just points of sale but hubs of innovation and learning, dedicated to educating and inspiring individuals,” adds Zhang further before highlighting the firm’s main target of establishing a total of 30 dealerships by 2025.
