Test-Drive The GWM TANK 300 Off-Road At M4TREC This Weekend

Remember our First Drive feature of the GWM TANK 300 published recently? Well, you can have experienced what we did for yourself this weekend.
That’s because GWM Malaysia is now opening the TANK 300 M4TREC Off-Road Experience to the public. This two-day off-road experience with the TANK 300 takes place this weekend at M4TREC in Semenyih, Selangor on July 20 and 21, and those keen to have a go need only register online beforehand.

This event will provide the public with the opportunity to experience and tackle M4TREC’s custom-designed obstacles and challenges. These, by the way, were designed highlight the capabilities of the GWM TANK 300, positioning it as the ideal off-road SUV.
Participants will also be coached and instructed by qualified instructors on how to navigate rough terrain during their experience. This training prepares them to properly exploit the TANK 300's off-road intelligent characteristics and overcome any terrain.


The public will be able to experience challenges such as the Log Bridge, Axle Twister, Ridge Crossing, Log Track, Hill Descent, Hill Climb, and more.
According to Mike Cui, GWM Malaysia’s MD, "We want the public to experience the performance and capabilities of our GWM TANK 300 in a variety of road conditions, with safety being our top priority."


As a refresher, the GWM TANK 300 officially launched late last week as a fully imported (CBU) offering priced at RM250,000. It sees four paintjob options available and a slew of special early bird perks and rewards for the first 300 customers - more details for which in our launch report.
