Geely Galaxy E5 Surpasses 12,000 Sales In Less Than A Month
Geely's Galaxy E5 electric SUV made a quick impact on the market, reaching significant sales milestones soon after its release. The Galaxy E5 was first announced in May and launched on August 3rd, selling over 10,000 units in its first 20 days, CarNewsChina has reported.
By August 26th, cumulative sales had surpassed 12,000 units, indicating a high demand for this new model. The all-electric SUV, which provides the basis for the Proton eMas 7 starts at 109,800 yuan, with a 3,000 yuan early bird discount included. The E5 is 4,615 mm long, 1,901 mm wide, 1,670 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. It is built on the Geely Electric Architecture (GEA) platform.

The SUV has two battery options: a 49.52 kWh battery with a range of 440 km and a 60.22 kWh battery that increases the range to 530 km. These configurations cater to a variety of driving needs, including daily commutes and longer trips. The Galaxy E5 is 4615 mm long, 1901 mm wide, and 1670 mm tall, with a wheelbase of E5 mm, placing it in the compact SUV category.
The vehicle can be customized to suit individual preferences and is available in eight colors, including Meizu's pinky, green, white, silver, black, and blue.

The Galaxy E5 is positioned as a formidable competitor in the electric SUV market thanks to its early success, which saw over 12,000 units sold in less than a month. Touted as the primary rival to the BYD Yuan, the E5 SUV is expected to be unveiled globally shortly as this is part of the company's ongoing global expansion.
