Isuzu D-Max Merdeka Day Convoys Attract 3,300 Participants

In the true spirit of Merdeka, a group of Isuzu D-Max owners recently took part in the Isuzu Merdeka Convoy to celebrate Malaysia's 67th Independence Day. Organised by Isuzu Malaysia, the convoy featured an impressive turnout of 900 Isuzu D-Max vehicles and over 3,300 participants.
Gathering at 36 Isuzu outlets across the country, from Alor Setar to Keningau, the convoys embarked on scenic routes to popular destinations. Participants also enjoyed a variety of exciting activities such as durian feasts, white water rafting, glamping, treasure hunts, and picnics.

Building on the success of last year’s Merdeka Convoy, which attracted 600 D-Max units, this year's event grew to become Malaysia's largest D-Max owners' simultaneous get-together. The convoy's goal was to celebrate this significant national holiday and strengthen ties among the D-Max community.

Shunsuke Okazoe, CEO of Isuzu Malaysia, flagged off the convoy from the Indah Utara dealership in Alor Setar, Kedah. He also noted that Isuzu owners are becoming more enthusiastic, and many of them have shown a desire to attend more events that foster camaraderie among D-Max owners.
