Leaders Of Alleged Religious Sect Travelled In Luxury Cars, SUVs

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class (left) and Lexus LX (right) are arguably perhaps a tad thrifty for any religious figureheads to be seen driven in, and yet...
By now we’re sure many of you are aware of a certain religious organisation that’s making headlines locally – and abroad – over allegations of child sex abuse through its network of charity homes that prompted major raids and subsequent investigation by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
Following which, a tonne more details and additional allegations have surfaced online surrounding said organisation. Whilst we’re in no position to assess the laws said organisation are allegedly infringing or breaking, what caught our attention instead are some of its alleged vehicular assets.
According to one social media post, it appears that leaders of this organisation, which has all the tell-tale signs of being a sect, travelled about in relative luxury. In fact, images of some of the vehicles supposedly owned by said organisation have surfaced online via social media too, and this piqued our curiosity.

Amongst the cars revealed through one social media post are pretty top-end to say the least. Notable ones here include a relatively current generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class luxury flagship sedan, along with at least two Lexus LX 570, which is a luxurious redux of the Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4.
Additional images also allege other leaders of this organisation had access to things like the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire luxury MPVs. Also pictured and alleged to be in this organisation’s fleet were a Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux pick-up trucks, plus a Toyota Innova MPV.
The same source even alleges that the organisation owns its very own luxury motorhome, though images proving which have yet to surface. Whilst we’re on the subject of this organisation’s vehicles, it’s also worth noting that part of its massive business operations include a chain of auto workshops – specifically, this and this.
How this organisation could afford to fleet such vehicles for its so-called leaders, which cost no less than RM100,000 apiece – the S-Class itself is worth at least RM659,000 when new – is perhaps worth an investigation, more so following new allegations at how its wealth and income are generated.
Surely, even if allegations of the organisation’s abuse towards its members, children under its care, or even its accusations of shady business and wealth-generation practices, don’t turn out to be true, having a a fleet of luxury autos is perhaps a tad thrifty for any organisation that’s supposedly led by religious values.
So, what do you reckon folks? Share your thoughts and views on the matter in the comments section below, as well as our social media pages.
