Photo: Bernama. The West Coast Expressway (WCE) Section 1 (Banting-SKVE) will start collecting tolls on September 30, 2024, at 12:01 AM, following a month of free operation.
The toll rates imposed on the first section of the WCE Expressway are fully integrated with the SKVE Expressway via the Tanjung Dua Belas Interchange, accounting for the entirety of the user's journey, including the portion traveled on the SKVE Expressway.
Since all toll collection will be done electronically using RFID, Touch 'n Go cards, and Smart tags, users are advised to make sure their e-wallet balance and Touch 'N Go cards are sufficient before starting their trip in order to avoid any problems at the toll plaza.

The West Coast Expressway runs 233 kilometres from Banting, Selangor, to Taiping (Changkat Jering), Perak. Three sections in Selangor have been opened, with work on four more currently underway, and four sections in Perak have been opened.
