The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) has granted a license to Estonian e-hailing company Bolt to operate in Malaysia, according to the agency's website, as reported by Lowyat.com.<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;"> <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">

At the moment, Bolt has operations across over 50 countries but Thailand is the only location in Southeast Asia where it is currently present. Malaysia is therefore expected to join the company's expansion as the second market in the region.

To allow for maintenance, according to Loke,  only one train will run during off-peak hours (12am to 5am). Each Aerotrain features three carriages and can accommodate up to 270 passengers, ensuring smoother and more efficient movement between terminals.
