New Tesla Service, Body & Paint Centre In Johor

Tesla Malaysia has launched a new, state-of-the-art service centre in Johor at Jalan Sri Plentong 6, Taman Perindustrian Sri Plentong, 81750 Masai.
This facility will also feature a Body & Paint workshop, enhancing after-sales service options for the growing Tesla community in the southern region. However, it’s worth noting that the centre’s access is strictly by appointment only—walk-ins are not accepted.
The Johor service centre complements Tesla’s recently opened Penang service centre in Seberang Jaya, which serves Tesla owners in the northern region.

The new Johor centre is set to play a key role in strengthening customer confidence and support for temporary Tesla’s Experience Centre which operates at TFS (Third Floor South) in The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey.
Tesla is also actively expanding its charging network across Malaysia, with plans for additional stations by the end of 2024. At present, Tesla’s infrastructure includes 12 Supercharger stations with 56 chargers and 14 Destination Charging stations with 72 chargers across the country.

In Johor, however, only one Supercharging station is operational, located at Sunway Bigbox. Carz.com.my however have recently spotted a new Supercharging site at the Skudai R&R (Southbound), featuring four V4 Superchargers. However, the site awaits relevant authority approvals or grid power allocation before it can become fully operational.
Additionally, in support of the shift to electric vehicles and sustainable energy adoption, Tesla has also launched its new EV Switcher Program. For a limited time, owners of traditional ICE vehicles who switch to Tesla EVs can receive an RM10,000 incentive, encouraging the transition to cleaner transportation.
