Bufori Partners with Perodua to Develop the eMO-II

Bufori - a Malaysian based manufacturer of handcrafted luxury cars, has announced its instrumental role in supporting Perodua in the development of the innovative eMO-II (electric motion online) EV concept car.
The eMO-II which was officially unveiled at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) on December 4th, stole the show and garnered much news and social traction despite other concept vehicles from renowned brands like Honda and Toyota present there.

According to Bufori, the partnership marks a significant milestone in Malaysia’s automotive history where it played a part in providing Perodua the necessary technical support, fabrication, and finishing processes, helping to shape a functional concept car that embodies style, innovation, and luxury.
Speaking about the collaboration, Bufori’s Founder and Managing Director, Gerry Khouri, expressed, “We are delighted to have supported Perodua in bringing this visionary project to life as this collaboration reflects our shared passion for pushing boundaries.”

The Perodua eMO-II features bold design elements, cutting-edge technology, and luxurious touches inspired by Malaysia’s cultural uniqueness. Striking light effects and advanced engineering solutions make the eMO-II stand out as both a functional and visually stunning prototype.
During the unveiling ceremony at KLIMS, Perodua’s President & CEO, YBhg Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, expressed gratitude for Bufori’s contributions by presenting an appreciation plaque to Gerry Khouri.

“This project is a shining example of how collaboration within Malaysia’s leading automotive players can lead to extraordinary results,” Khouri noted.
He further noted that the Perodua eMO-II is not just a concept; it is a testament to the innovative spirit driving the Malaysian automotive industry forward by setting a high benchmark for future collaborations.
