MG Malaysia Sees Initial Network Of 10 Dealerships Now Operational
The new MG4 EV hatch at MG Petaling Jaya operated by dealers Mega Galeri Sdn Bhd - 1 of 10 newly established MG Motor dealers that form MG Malaysia's initial network.
Following its glitzy official launch event last month, MG Malaysia (SAIC Motor Malaysia Sdn Bhd) today revealed it now has 10 authorised dealerships now operational across Malaysia. These now make up the brand’s initial network, and the firm commits to opening even more outlets this year.
The bulk of these dealership are sprawled across the greater Klang Valley region, along with a handful situated in the Southern region. Present now across these outlets are the two key EV models launched by MG Malaysia last month, those being the MG4 hatch range and the MG ZS EV crossover.

“We are delighted to welcome these strong dealers to the MG family. Their passion and commitment align perfectly with our mission to provide unparalleled MG experiences to valued customers nationwide,” said SAIC Motor Malaysia MD Steven Du in the press statement issued earlier today.
Steven continued further by emphasising that more MG brand outlets will be opened at later dates. Said expansion includes new outlets located in the Northern and East Coast regions of Peninsular Malaysia, followed by the East Malaysia region as well.

Besides announcing these dealerships, MG Malaysia also highlighted its MG Insurance Program (MIP) that was announced during the MG4 and MG ZS EV launch event mentioned. This program sees MG Malaysia partnering leading insurers such as Berjaya Sompo Insurance, Allianz Malaysia and Generali Malaysia.
Through said partnerships, MIP offers customers additional peace of mind through its offer of unlimited towing costs coverage, as well as home wallbox charger coverage with reimbursements amounting up to RM10,000 in the event of theft or damage caused by external factors.
Besides revealing its initial dealership network, MG Malaysia also elected to highlights its MG Insurance Program (MIP) that prospecting customers can opt into for added peace of mind.
Furthermore, MG Malaysia’s partnership with Allianz Malaysia sees owners able to opt in for the latter's Alliance EV Sheild program that offers up to RM5,000 in additional compensation on top of the usual vehicle insurance coverage (T&Cs apply).
