30% CNY Charging Discount For Proton e.MAS & smart

Proton announced that owners of the Proton e.MAS 7 and its sister company ProNet’s smart #1 and #3, will enjoy a 30% charging discount during the Chinese New Year travel period from 25 Jan to 3 Feb 2025.

This initiative is made possible through partnerships with participating charge point operators (CPOs) - Gentari, JomCharge, ChargEV, ChargeSini, Carput Zap, and DC Handal.

However, customers must note that the discount is only applicable if they activate charging sessions via the Proton e.MAS app or the Hello smart app. Charging sessions initiated directly through the CPOs’ own apps will not qualify for the discount.

To benefit from the discount, users simply need to use the Proton e.MAS app or the Hello smart app to locate their preferred charging station and activate the charging session as usual. The 30% discount will be automatically applied and reflected in the final charge summary at the end of the session.

Proton had previously highlighted during the launch of the Proton e.MAS 7 that, thanks to its partnerships with the aforementioned CPOs, it now has access to 85% of the charging network in Malaysia, which is continuously growing as more chargers are deployed by these operators.
