Arctic Trucks Transforms the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 Into a Mean Off-Roader

Arctic Trucks has transformed the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 into a mean, hardcore off-roader.
Renowned 4x4 tuner Arctic Trucks has transformed the new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 into a mean, hardcore off-roader, as if the original SUV is not hardcore enough for you. Known as the AT37, this 4x4 SUV has benefited from a slew of off-roading gears, as well as some cosmetic bits to elevate its ruggedness.

Starting with the visuals, the AT37 has been equipped with a ten-piece widebody kit that includes new front and rear bumpers with a hidden receiver hitch, flared-out wheel arches, and aluminium side steps. Beyond that, what really elevates (literally and figuratively) this LC 250 are the lifted suspension kit and massive 37-inch BF Goodrich tyres, with the former raising the ground clearance by 40 MM courtesy of the new two-way adjustable suspensions.

As for the latter, the off-road tyres are paired with 17-inch forged alloy wheels finished in satin black while featuring a dual-valve design for easier monitoring of the tyre pressure. To accommodate these massive tyres, Arctic Trucks had gone through the hassle of “reprofiling [of] the Land Cruiser’s frame, body, bodywork, and drivetrain,” which made the SUV have a wider track and an extended wheelbase.

The Arctic Trucks treatment is noticeably more subtle inside, with the only notable new additions being the branded door sills and floor mats, as well as the unique trim and a special gear shifter at the central console.

From our understanding, Arctic Trucks doesn’t offer any upgrades on the powertrain setup of the Land Cruiser 250, meaning that the AT37 will get the same powertrain specs and outputs as their stock counterparts. For the latest-gen, the LC 250 is offered with an array of engine options, including a new 2.4-litre 4-cyl turbocharged petrol hybrid engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox to deliver 326 HP and 630 NM.

As of now, Arctic Trucks has yet to unveil the total cost for this AT37 upgrade, although they did mention that this upgrade package will be available later in Q2 this year in selected key markets like North America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
