Launched: 2025 Honda Civic FL – 4 Variants, From RM133,900 Onwards

Honda Malaysia officially introduced the face-lifted and upgraded 11th-gen (FE) 2025MY Honda Civic sedan line-up locally earlier today.
As expected, Honda Malaysia kicked off its efforts for the New Year by officially launching the face-lifted 2025 Honda Civic line-up earlier today.
Prior to today’s launch, the firm had opened up the order books for said upgraded 11th-generation (FE) sedan last month since Dec 12, albeit for just two variants – the sporty 1.5 RS and range-topping 2.0 e:HEV RS guises, the latter being the sole electrified hybrid offering in this line-up.
Today’s official launch event sees those two guises joined by the base 1.5E and mid-range 1.5V variants as before. All share similar exterior tweaks, namely through the adoption of redesigned front and rear bumpers, updated and larger grille, and new honeycomb mesh lower intake insert.

Exterior changes are mild, but most visible in both the top to RS guises that also gain new matte black 18-inch alloy wheels design.
Specifically for the RS variants, these now gain new matte black 18-inch alloy wheels design to match their sharpened exterior stance. Apart from which, little else has changed inside and out with all four guises. Instead, what has improved are a slew features and amenities on board.
Leading the bill here is a new upgraded 9-inch head unit primed across ALL guises boasting Google Built-in, thus making the Civic the first Japanese car to feature which in segment and grant users access to Google services such as Google Maps and Play Store.
That aside, said head unit also still offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, not forgetting the Honda Connect telematics system as well. Beyond which, wireless charging pad remains exclusive to the RS variants, as well as rain-sensing wipers.

Aesthetic changes on board are equally minimal, but there are several upgraded tech to note, namely the segment-first improved 9-inch infotainment suite boasting Google Built-in functions.
For the non-hybrid RS guise, it now sports an improved digital 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, dual-zone climate control, as well as both Active Noise Control (ANC) and Active Sound Control (ASC) suites primed aboard.
Under the hood, there are no changes to report on this front either. Retained are both the familiar 1.5-litre 4-cyl VTEC Turbo petrol and 2.0-lite e-HEV naturally aspirated 4-cyl petrol hybrid powertrain packages, as well as their respective CVT and E-CVT automatic transmission pairing.
The combustion (ICE) petrol powertrain continues to deliver 180 HP and 240 NM outputs to enable 0-100 KM/H sprints achieved anywhere between 8.3 to 8.5 secs. As such, variant equipped with this powertrain also boast respectable fuel economy averages between 6.0 to 6.3 litres/100 KM.
As for the 2.0 e:HEV RS, it pairs a 2.0-litre Atkinson Cycle 4-cyl petrol mill with an e-motor and compact 1.05 kWh lithium-ion battery. While the ICE element brings 141 HP and 184 NM, the e-motor brings 181 HP and 315 NM into the mix , as well as a lower fuel economy average of 4.0 litres/100 KM.

The Honda Sensing ADAS suite also continues to come as standard kit across all guises, and a slew of its features have been improved with heightened detection plus more linear and smoother operations.
Moving on and what is shared across the board too is the Honda Sensing ADAS suite, add Forward Collision Waring (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Keep Assis (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), as well as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
Notably, some of the ADAS functions listed have ben improved with increased detection abilities plus smoother and more linear operations. All also continue to come on top of basics that include six airbags, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX childseat anchors, and more.

Full prices of all four variants excluding insurance costs.
As for price, the refreshed base 1.5E variant is now tagged at RM133,900 – RM2,000 more now. The mid-range 1.5V remains unchanged at RM144,900, whereas the 1.5 RS variant is now priced RM2,000 less at RM149,900. The range-topping 2.0 e:HEV RS guise, on the other hand, caps things off with its RM167,900 figure.
As usual, all guises get a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty plus five times free labour service (within 100,000 KM). The 2.0 e:HEV RS hybrid, on the other hand, gains an 8-year, unlimited mileage battery warranty too.
