Launched: Upgraded 2025 Mitsubishi Xpander – 200 Units only, RM104K

The base-spec Mitsubishi Xpander facelift has been upgraded with dealer optional accessories, now priced at RM104,980.
After a few months since making its local debut, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is already giving the Xpander facelift a minor upgrade, where it sees the baseline Xpander variant gaining a slew of dealer optional accessories as standard. Limited to only 200 units, this upgrade also sees the baseline Xpander facelift increasing in price to RM104,980—a RM5,000 increase over its original sticker price of RM99,980.

With an aim to provide customers a more affordable alternative to the top-spec Xpander Plus, the upgraded Xpander now comes standard with several new accessories that were previously offered as add-on options. Some of the new features include two key safety equipment, such as the All-Round Monitor (ARM), which provides drivers with a comprehensive view of the vehicle’s surroundings, as well as both the front and rear Driving Video Recorder (DVR).

For a better luxury feel, MMM has also added the then-optional leatherette seat upholstery for the baseline Xpander, thus promising to improve both the life quality and comfort level for all passengers on board this compact MPV.

Besides those three additional features, the upgraded Xpander facelift remains unchanged from its original counterpart, as it continues to be powered by the same 1.5-litre 4-cyl nat-asp MIVEC engine rated at 105 PS and 141 NM, which is mated to a four-speed conventional automatic gearbox to help power the front wheels (FWD).

Also unchanged are the onboard amenities, such as the 9-inch central infotainment display that supports wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, an electronic parking brake (EPB), a new digital A/C control panel, and many more. Not to forget, standard safety features are also the same, with the family MPV still rocking two airbags, standard passive safety features like traction (TCS) and stability (VSC) controls, and ABS, to name a few.

Included with the newly-upgraded Mitsubishi Xpander’s RM104,980 price tag is the standard 5-year unlimited mileage warranty. Those who are interested in getting one of the 200 examples of this upgraded MPV can visit the new Mitsubishi Online Showroom or any authorised Mitsubishi Motors dealers nationwide.
