BYD Denza N9 SUV Detailed Ahead Of March 2025 Launch

Details for the BYD Denza N9 full-sized electrified SUV have emerged in China ahead of its planned March launch.
The BYD Denza N9 is set to enter its home market in China very soon. In fact, pre-sales for the full-sized and electrified SUV offering are reportedly set to commence this month (Feb) itself, whilst an official launch looks set to take place sometime next month (March).
Ahead of which, a slew of new details have emerged, and we start with dimensions. At 5,285 MM long with a 3,125 MM wheelbase, 2,030 MM wide and 1,830 MM tall, there’s no denying the Denza N9’s footprints as a full-sized SUV indeed.
Underneath, the Denza N9 shares the same BYD e3 platform as what its Denza Z9 saloon twin rides on, and it is expected to support a slew of advanced driving abilities like rear-wheel-steering, crab-walking, as well as tank turning.

Under the hood, plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants are se to receive a combustion (ICE) mill rated at 204 HP that works in tandem with a trio of e-motors boasting 268 HP/322 HP/322 HP outputs, thus bringing a combined figure of roughly 912 HP too.
The PHEV variant detailed is also set to offer up to 200 KM of electric-only driving range too – up from previous claims of 165 KM. Full-electric (EV) versions are set to follow suit after, though no timeline for which were specified.
On board, the Denza N9 is set to features a trio of large display screens, a heads-up display (HUD) module, followed by a distinct four-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a retractable sound system.

Other highlights here include a pair of wireless charging pads plus an electronic gear selector. Confirmed too are a slew of added luxury amenities, namely a ceiling-mounted display, refrigerator, independent second-row seats, and more.
Expect more details to emerge in the coming weeks leading up to the Denza N9’s official debut. Beyond China, parent brand BYD reportedly plans to have the Denza N9 marketed in Europe, and it could be one of the first Denza models to be exported overseas too.
