KTMB Offers Special Hari Raya 2025 East Coast Train Services

KTMB is offering four special edition train services to serve passengers in the East Coast for Hari Raya 2025.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is offering four special edition train services to serve passengers in the East Coast Peninsula Malaysia for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Bernama reports.

According to KTMB CEO Datuk Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin, a total of 312 tickets will be available to each of these four special services, with a total of 1,248 tickets allocated by KTMB throughout this upcoming festive season.

“This special train also features a buffet coach offering a variety of meals, as well as a ‘chillax’ coach, an exclusive lounge area where passengers can enjoy a more comfortable journey,” Mohd Rani Hisham told Bernama.

The special train service will run on March 28 and April 2, 2025, for services departing from KL Sentral at 11 PM for arrival in Tumpat, Kelantan, the next day at 3.53 PM. Meanwhile, the services from Tumpat to KL Sentral are available on March 29 and April 4, 2025, departing from Tumpat at 10.45 PM for arrival at KL Sentral the next day at 3.10 PM.

These train services will stop at 16 stations, namely Bandar Tasik Selatan, Kajang, Seremban, Pulau Sebang, Gemas, Bahau, Mentakab, Jerantut, Kuala Lipis, Gua Musang, Dabong, Kuala Krai, Tanah Merah, Pasir Mas, Wakaf Bharu, and Tumpat.

Ticket prices start from RM90 to RM95 one-way, and travellers can book their tickets now via the KTM Mobile (KTS) app or KTMB’s official website. Alternatively, these tickets can also be purchased at any KTMB kiosk at selected stations.
