MAS 2025: Sporty New Nissan Kicks e-Power Impul Edition Revealed

Nissan brand vanguards Edaran Tan Chong Malaysia (ETCM) weren’t ones to miss the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025) this year.
At the firm’s booth located in the main Hall A of MAS 2025, the firm elected to reveal its latest addition in the form of the new Nissan Kicks e-Power Impul Edition. Aptly, this new guise brings a sharper and sporty twist to the electrified compact crossover offering.

Launched in Dec 2024, the Kicks e-Power delivers EV-like drive dynamics sans the hassle of plugging in to charge. As a refresher, the 1.2-litre 3-cyl petrol engine brimmed in the Kicks serves solely as a ‘generator’ to charge a compact battery, the latter juicing an e-motor that actually provides the drive with 138 HP and 280 NM.
On board, this compact crossover SUV is primed with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As for safety, the Kicks e-Power boasts basic ADAS features like Forward Collision Warning and Intelligent Emergency Braking as standard kit.

This limited run offering unveiled at MAS 2025 was exclusively developed with Japan’s renowned Nissan tuning specialist Impul, and it brings bold styling enhancements. These include an Impul bonnet emblem, front and rear bumper spoilers, side-skirt aero garnish, and a roof spoiler.
Completing the sporty exterior are 18-inch Impul Aura SX-50 alloy wheels finished in bronze clear polish. Each are also shod with Goodyear Eagle F1 sport tyres (225/45 R18). These wheels are made in Japan and are limited to just 50 sets.

The full Impul Edition package is priced at RM8,500. The itemised breakdown sees the complete aerokit command RM5,000, while the wheels and tyres cost RM3,500. All accessories are backed by a 3-year or 100,000 KM warranty.
As part of a special early bird promotion, customers who purchase the Impul Edition in either VL or VLT variants will receive the Impul Aerokit upgrade for free. The alloy wheels remain an optional add-on.

As a refresher again, the Nissan Kicks e-Power range starts at RM113,800 for the base VL variant. The VLT is priced from RM121,800.
With its introduction at MAS 2025, bookings are now opened for the new Nissan Kicks e-Power Impul Edition at all authorised Nissan showrooms nationwide. ETCM adds that deliveries for which are expected to begin from July 2025.
