UMW Toyota Motor Steps Up As Title Sponsors of Super GT Malaysia 2025

Promoters of the upcoming Super GT Malaysia 2025 race weekend and festival revealed a slew of critical updates today, and it includes several new partners.
Earlier today, Haro Sports and Entertainment, promoters of the upcoming Super GT Malaysia 2025 race weekend and festival, announced several updates. Key amongst which is the revelation of a title sponsor.
Taking up that mantle now is major automaker UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT). Carz.com.my has understood that the automaker’s Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Malaysia banner will be central to which, and this explains the addition of Round 2 of the Vios Challenge 2025 as a support event too.

Firstly, UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has been revealed as the title sponsors of Super GT Malaysia 2025 through its Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Malaysia banner.

With this comes confirmation that Round 2 of the Vios Challenge 2025 has been added as an official support event to Super GT Malaysia too.
The support of automakers Toyota, who are active competitors in the Super GT series’ premier GT500 category through a slew of works-backed teams, is indeed pivotal. As a refresher, Super GT Malaysia 2025 takes places at PETRONAS Sepang international Circuit (SIC) on June 27 and 28.
“This partnership unites the best of Japanese GT racing with the spirit of Malaysian motorsports. It’s a spectacular celebration of speed, culture, and community,” remarked Fahrizal Hasan, Managing Partner of Haro Sports & Entertainment.

The involvement of automakers Toyota is pivotal, more so considering that the firm fields several works-backed teams in Super GT's premier GT500 class.
Ahead of UMWT’s participation through its TGR Malaysia arm noted prior, Haro Sports and Entertainment had already drawn up the inaugural GR86 Cup Malaysia one-make series as an official support event to Super GT Malaysia 2025.
Speaking of which, Haro Sports and Entertainment also revealed that leading Japanese tyremaker Bridgestone has become the official tyre supplier of the GR86 Cup Malaysia series. Two 10-lap races have been scheduled for its opening round at Super GT Malaysia 2025.
Another major announcement here is the entry of tyremakers Bridgestone as the official tyre supplier to the inaugural GR86 Cup Malaysia series.

Off-track, Super GT Malaysia 2025 will also feature the Nihon Matsuri Japanese cultural and food fest, followed by a newly announced GT Live! post-race concert headlined by leading regional and local artistes.
On-track racing action aside, Super GT Malaysia 2025 is also set to see plenty of off-track festivities held concurrently too. Leading which is of course the Nihon Matsuri Japanese cultural and food festival organised by Trumpet International.
Adding to which now is a newly announced GT Live! post-race concert event organised by Haro Sports and Entertainment. Notably, this stage is set to be headlined by both leading local and regional artistes.
Amongst those named in this bill include acclaimed trio of Tenxi, Naykilla & Jemsii aka TNJ, acclaimed J-Pop and M-Pop female group KLP48, Fareed of K-Clique, Sabhi Saddi and Kaka Azraff. Access to this post-race concert is opened exclusively to ticket holders.

Japan's Super GT returns to Malaysia after a a hiatus of over a decade. Held at PETRONAS SIC on June 28 and 29, this will be the series' sole overseas round held this year too.
Lastly, Haro Sports and Entertainment also confirmed that its promotional ‘Early Bird’ tickets, which are priced at RM80 each, are still available, but only for a limited time – said promotional effort is expected to end soon.
After which, regular ticket prices will take effect. Single-entry tickets and ‘experience packages’ available are priced between RM100 and RM5,000, whereas premium experience packages from two persons are priced between RM12,000 and RM15,000.
Ticket purchases, as well as enquiries, can be performed online now by visiting the event’s official website, supergtmalaysia.com.
