The Road Transport Department of Malaysia (JPJ) has announced a scheduled service interruption due to critical electrical maintenance works at its central data facility in Cyberjaya.

This exercise is set to take place from 10:00 PM today, June 20, 2025, until 6:00 AM Sunday, June 22, 2025.

During this period, all digital and physical JPJ services nationwide will be inaccessible, including those at:

  • JPJ state offices, branches, and Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs)
  • The MySIKAP portal (public and business users)
  • Integrated platforms used by agencies and business partners
  • Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) portal and Road Charge (RC) payment via e-Wallet
  • MyJPJ mobile app (MyJPJ)
  • JPJ Mobile services
  • JPJeBID (online vehicle number plate bidding)
  • Self-service kiosks

According to JPJ’s social media post, this scheduled downtime is essential for improving the security and reliability of its core data infrastructure. The maintenance works aim to ensure that all safety systems function optimally and to enhance the resilience of JPJ’s digital operations moving forward.

The department has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption. Users are advised to plan accordingly and complete any urgent transactions before the downtime begins.
