New JPJeBid Beta Mobile App Rolled Out
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) rolled out a new JPJeBid Mobile app on pilot (beta) tests for bidding on vehicle registration numbers starting Feb 18, 2025.
This update was announced by JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli in a press statement. In it, he confirmed the JPJeBid Mobile app will incorporate the latest mobile technology to ensure a more robust and efficient platform, addressing the limited accessibility of the current JPJeBid system.
JPJeBid Mobile comes with an intuitive interface, improved navigation, and real-time notifications to keep users updated. There’s also a new menu that shows upcoming registration series, which were previously shared via weekly email.
Users can personalise their experience by updating their profile, checking real-time bid statuses, and managing their account for better bid tracking. Users can download the app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Huawei AppGallery.
Users who have already registered prior just need to log in using your current JPJeBid login details. The existing JPJeBid portal and app will still be available during the pilot test, so users can choose their preferred platform.
JPJ will also run an online survey through users’ JPJeBid accounts to gather feedback to help improve the app before its full launch. JPJ hopes with this public feedback, the JPJeBid service can be further improved to be more efficient.
