Setel Pump-and-Pay Integrated Into TNG eWallet

Setel Ventures Sdn Bhd (Setel) and TNG Digital Sdn Bhd (TNGD) have entered a strategic partnership to enable fuel payments directly via TNG eWallet. The feature is now available at over 1,000 Petronas stations nationwide.
The integration allows users to pay for fuel at the pump without leaving their vehicle or needing to download an additional app. It works through the new Petronas via Setel’ mini programme embedded within the TNG eWallet.

This collaboration brings Setel’s pump-and-pay technology to one of Malaysia’s most widely used digital wallets, expanding access to cashless refuelling for a broader user base.
Setel CEO Abdullah Ayman Awaluddin said the partnership is part of Setel’s strategy to scale its platform through ecosystem integration, particularly for high-frequency transactions like fuel purchases.

TNG Digital CEO Alan Ni added that the move supports TNG’s goal of embedding everyday services into its platform to enhance convenience and reach.
To encourage adoption, a launch promotion offers RM5 worth of Mesra Rewards points for the first 50,000 eligible transactions made via the TNG eWallet mini programme. This offer is available to new Setel users, existing Mesra members linking their ID to Setel for the first time, and is subject to terms and conditions.
In addition, users will continue to earn TNG eWallet’s GOrewards points with each transaction made through the mini programme.
