Cycle & Carriage Malaysia Appoints Adrian Short as New CEO
Cycle & Carriage Malaysia has appointed Adrian Short as the company’s new CEO, replacing Thomas Tok Chek Kuan.
Cycle & Carriage Malaysia (C&C) has appointed Adrian Short as the company’s new CEO. He replaces outgoing CEO Thomas Tok Chek Kuan, who will take on a new role as the COO of Mercedes-Benz operations at Cycle & Carriage Industries, Singapore.
Adrian’s appointment as C&C’s new CEO follows his previous role as Head of Business Development at Cycle & Carriage Singapore, where he played a key role in driving growth across the commercial and electric mobility sectors.
Prior to that, Mr. Short was in charge of Cycle & Carriage Myanmar, where he brought over three decades of experience in the Southeast Asian regional automotive industry, especially in the luxury automobile segment.

His extensive understanding of the business, commitment to innovation and service excellence, with deep experience in a multi-brand landscape, makes him the right person to lead Cycle & Carriage Malaysia into its next chapter,” quoted outgoing CEO Thomas Tok.
“I am honoured to take on the Chief Executive role at Cycle & Carriage Malaysia, a company with such deep heritage and strong brand partnerships. Malaysia is a vibrant and evolving market, and I am truly excited to serve our customers here, delivering best-in-class experiences across our servicing segments,” quoted Adrian Short.
“I look forward to continuing the momentum set by Thomas, strengthening our Mercedes-Benz business, and unlocking new growth opportunities with the Stellantis portfolio. I am confident that together with our capable team, we will continue to shape the future of automotive excellence in Malaysia.”
