Launched: 2025 Proton X50 Facelift – 3 Variants, From RM85,800*
At last, prices for the 2025 Proton X50 Facelift were officially announced tonight, and it starts from RM89,800, or from RM85,800 with a special rebate. See details below.
At last, the wait is finally over. Earlier tonight, national automaker Proton finally announced the prices for the 2025 Proton X50 Facelift range. As reported prior, there are three variants on offer, and here are their respective prices:
| VARIANT | PRICE |
| 1.5 TD Executive | RM89,800 (RM85,800*) |
| 1.5 TD Premium | RM101,800 (RM97,800*) |
| 1.5 TD Flagship | RM113,300 (RM109,300*) |

Boldly, Proton elected to offer a special cash rebate of RM4,000 for the first 10,000 customers who register their 2025 Proton X50 Facelift by Oct 31, 2025. Of course, that's not all.
Typical of Proton, there’s also a series of special rewards up for grabs for early adopters (first 10,000 customers) of the revamped 2025 Proton X50 Facelift.
Highlights include 5-year unlimited mileage warranty with up to 6-times free labour service (Pro-Warranty), upgraded 5-year in-car data package (capped at 2GB monthly)(Pro-Connect), and up to RM2,000 in trade-in overtrade (Pro-Trade-In).
Besides that, the revamped 2025 Proton X50 Facelift is offered with special financing that boasts annual interest rates as low as 2.35% (5 years) and 2.38% (7 years) (Pro-Finance). There's even an upgraded Proton Insurance Programme on offer here too (Pro-Shield).

The 2025 Proton X50 Facelift was first previewed to local press earlier this month in both Flagship (left) and Premium (right) guises.

As a refresher, the 2025 Proton X50 Facelift range first debuted earlier this month on July 1, and bookings were opened on July 6 onwards.
With its best-selling B-SUV nameplate, the automaker imbued this 2025 model year facelift with a raft of changes inside and out. Visually, this is now a sharper and sportier-looking crossover SUV thanks to its new headlights, grille, front bumper, rear spoiler, as well as new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The 2025 Proton X50 Facelift also sees a revised cabin design featuring a sleeker new centre console and stack plus a new column-mounted gear selector stalk.

Inside, the cabin has been refreshed with a newly redesigned centre stack and cosole that’s free of a gear selector lever – Proton has replaced which with a new column-mounted gear selector stalk.
New here too is a floating 14.6-inch central infotainment touchscreen brimmed with both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from the get-go – no post-purchase over-the-air (OTA) software update needed like in the larger X70 Facelift model.
On board, there's now a powerful new 14.6-inch floating touchscreen infotainment that boasts both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The next major change stems from the all-new 1.5-litre i-GT 4-cyl turbo petrol powerplant. Shared across all three variants, this new mill is both refined and much peppier than the 1.5-litre 3-cyl MPI and TGD-i mills it succeeds, outputting 181 PS and 290 NM.
Said outputs continue to drive the front wheels via a 7-speed DCT automatic box, promising 0-100 KM/H sprints in just 7.6 secs. Critically, Proton claims this new 4-cyl mill boasts a 4.7% improvement in fuel efficiency over the 3-cyl mills it replaces.
Under the hood, the 2025 Proton X50 Facelift adopts an all-new 1.5-litre i-GT 4-cyl turbo petrol mill that puts out 181 PS and 290 NM.

Significantly enhanced too are the ADAS features, which now delivers Level 2 semi-autonomous driving and parking abilities.

Significantly enhanced too are the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features primed aboard the 2025 Proton X50 Facelift. We’ll be brief and note that this is now a much smarter and safer crossover than before as a result.
