Launched: 2025 Lexus NX 350h Luxury – New Hybrid Variant, RM395,888

Lexus Malaysia has expanded its NX SUV lineup by debuting the new Lexus NX 350h Luxury, priced at RM395,888.
Lexus Malaysia has yet again silently updated its product lineup, this time around its NX SUV, where it gains a new variant, the Lexus NX 350h Luxury. The new NX 350h Luxury stood as the sole hybrid variant for the second-gen NX lineup in Malaysia, priced from RM395,888.
From Lexus Malaysia’s official website, you can see that the then baseline NX 250 Luxury variant is no longer listed, thus leaving the performance-oriented NX 350 F Sport as the cheapest variant of the SUV in Malaysia, priced at RM390,888.

Back to the NX 350h Luxury, the SUV adopts a series-parallel hybrid (HEV) setup, featuring Toyota’s 2.5-litre 4-cyl nat-asp Dynamic Force petrol engine as its core. Said engine is then mated to two electric motors that make up its E-Four all-wheel drive (AWD) setup and an 8-speed CVT gearbox to deliver a total system output of 234 hp and 239 Nm.
This setup allows the NX 350h Luxury a decent century sprint time of 7.7 seconds, plus a decent fuel economy rate of five litres per 100 km, Lexus claims.

Underpinning Toyota’s proprietary TNGA-K platform, the new NX 350h Luxury rides on a front MacPherson and rear double wishbone suspension setup, although it doesn’t get the same adaptive variable suspension and performance dampers as its F Sport twin. Three driving modes are available for the hybrid SUV, namely Normal, Eco, and Sport.

Visually, it is quite hard to distinguish between the NX 350h Luxury and the NX 250 Luxury, as both models come standard with the ‘Luxury’ trim package. Some key design highlights for the hybrid model include sharp LED projector headlights with L-shaped DRLs, satin silver accents, 20-inch alloy wheels finished in Dark Gray Metallic, and many more.
A total of seven exterior colourways are available for the NX 350h Luxury, including White Nova Glass Flake, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Chrome, Graphite Black Glass Flake, Radiant Red Contrast Layering, Terrane Khaki, and Sonic Copper.

Being a ‘Luxury’ variant, the new NX 350h Luxury boasts tons of creature comforts and amenities inside the cabin, including an open-pore wood finish, a power-adjustable leather steering wheel, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, a 14-inch central infotainment screen with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and many more.

Other tech amenities primed here include a wireless charger, a head-up display, voice recognition and built-in navigation for the infotainment, and a 10-speaker Lexus Premium Audio sound system. Customers can also choose from two interior colour options, namely Black Leather with Micro Dot Piano Black Trim or Dark Rose Leather with Micro Dot Piano Black Trim.

Safety-wise, the NX 350h Luxury features the latest version of Lexus’ Safety System+ (LSS+), which includes ADAS functions like Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and many more.
