Launched: Zeekr 7X EV SUV – 3 Variants, From RM179,800

The all-new Zeekr 7X EV SUV has just made its Malaysian debut, featuring three variants priced from RM179,800.
After making its first public appearance at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025) earlier this year, the much-anticipated Zeekr 7X has finally made its local debut today. This midsize EV SUV will be available in three variants, with prices starting from RM179,800 for RWD Standard Range, RM190,800 for RWD Long Range, and RM226,800 for the range-topping AWD Performance.

Included with said prices is a standard 5-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, a separate 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the high-voltage battery, and one year of free connected service to access the Zeekr app, on-board navigation, and OTA updates. Early bird buyers will also receive a free 22 kW wallbox and solar tint as part of the limited-time launch promotion.

As detailed prior, the two RWD variants share the same single-motor rear-wheel drive setup rated at 421 PS and 440 Nm, allowing the EV SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in six seconds. Battery-wise, the baseline RWD Standard model gets Zeekr’s Golden Battery pack with a 75 kWh capacity that can support 22 kW AC and 450 kW DCFC, with the latter allowing a 10-80% charge to be completed in just 10.5 minutes. Not to forget, said battery also supplies the baseline 7X with up to 480 km of WLTP range.
Meanwhile, the RWD Long Range uses a larger 100-kWh NMC-type battery pack that gets the longest WLTP range of 615 km out of the three variants while supporting 420 kW of DCFC and 22 kW of AC charging.

As for the range-topping AWD Performance, the model gets the peppiest dual-motor AWD setup rated at 646 PS and 710 Nm, allowing for a quick century sprint time of only 3.8 seconds. Juice is provided by the same 100-kWh unit, although its WLTP range drops to 543 km in return.
On the mechanical side, all variants of the 7X underpin the same Geely SEA platform with an 800-volt architecture. Both the RWD variants ride on front double wishbones and a multi-link rear suspension setup, while the AWD Performance gets a single-chamber air suspension system with continuous control damping, plus Akebono brakes with orange-hued callipers.

Design-wise, the 7X gets a pretty sleek, coupe-ish EV SUV bodystyle, while featuring some familiar design cues derived from other Zeekr models. Key design features include slim LED headlights, full-width LED taillights, frameless doors, standard 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, and many more.

Opting for the top-spec AWD Performance model will add several extra bits on the exterior, including the Zeekr Stargate Integrated Smart Light Curtain that features 1,831 LEDs on the front panel above the headlights that are customisable, and 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres.
Not to forget, a total of five exterior colourways are available for the 7X, namely Crystal White, Onyx Black, Tech Grey, Forest Green, and the signature Brook Blue with a silver roof, which is only available for the AWD Performance model.

On-board amenities are also plenty inside the 7X, featuring standard equipment such as the 16-inch central infotainment screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 13-inch digital metre cluster, triple-zone climate control, a 10-speaker audio system, multi-colour ambient lights, and many more.
The mid-spec RWD Long Range ups the ante by getting a power-adjustable steering wheel, ventilated and massage functions for the front seats, an expansive 36.21-inch augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD), a 21-speaker Zeekr Pro sound system, and dual 50-watt wireless chargers.

The top-spec AWD Performance variant, on the other hand, gets the same equipment as the RWD Long Range model, with the addition of full-grain Nappa leather upholstery, powered doors, and powered rear side window sunshades.
