MAS 2025: Zeekr 7X Previewed — ROI Open, From RM182K*

The much-anticipated Zeekr 7X is making waves at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025), happening from May 9 to 15. While the official launch is expected in Q3 this year, registration of interest (ROI) for the sleek new midsize electric SUV is officially open at the show.
Sized to rival the likes of the Xpeng G6 and BYD Sealion 7 or the Tesla Model Y, the Zeekr 7X measures 4,825 mm long, 1,930 mm wide, and 1,666 mm tall, riding on a 2,925 mm wheelbase. It’s almost neck-and-neck with its Chinese and American competitors in terms of footprint.

Two powertrain options are available - the rear-wheel drive variant delivers 416 HP and 440 Nm, good for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6 seconds. The all-wheel drive version ramps things up with 630 HP and 710 Nm, dropping the century sprint time to a brisk 3.8 seconds.
As for batteries, the RWD model offers either a 75-kWh LFP ‘Golden Brick’ pack with up to 480 KM of WLTP range, or a larger 100-kWh CATL-Geely Qilin NMC unit with up to 615 KM WLTP. The AWD variant uses the 100-kWh pack exclusively, offering up to 543 KM (WLTP).

Built on the 800V platform, the 7X supports ultra-fast 360kW DC charging. Zeekr claims the Golden Brick battery can go from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes, while the larger CATL pack takes around 15 minutes. AC charging speed is also an impressive 22kW.
The Zeekr 7X will be offered in three variants locally: RWD Standard (RM182,000), RWD Long Range (RM195,000), and AWD Performance (RM230,000). These indicative prices are exclusive to the first 500 customers only.

Crafted on Zeekr’s advanced Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, the 7X promises a refined, family-friendly experience with enhanced handling, low NVH levels, and a more spacious interior. Premium touches include adaptive air suspension for seamless ride quality across various road conditions.
“We’re excited to debut the Zeekr 7X at the Malaysia Autoshow following strong interest in Singapore and Thailand,” said Alex Bao, Managing Director of Zeekr Southeast Asia. “This premium SUV sets a new benchmark in design, technology, and comfort.” With ROI opening on 9th May, this is your chance to be among the first to experience the Zeekr 7X up close.
