ASEAN 2025: KL Car-Free Morning Cancelled This Sunday

The weekly KL Car-Free Morning scheduled for Sunday, Oct 26, has been cancelled due to extensive road closures for the 47th ASEAN Summit 2025.
Kuala Lumpur will be under tight security from Oct 26 to 28, with rolling roadblocks lasting 30 to 45 minutes to allow smooth movement for official convoys, according to the Kuala Lumpur Command and Control Centre (KLCCC).
Key roads such as Jalan Ampang, Persiaran KLCC, Jalan Bukit Bintang, and Jalan Sultan Ismail as well as major highways like MEX, PLUS, and NKVE will be affected.
The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has announced extended train and bus services to reduce congestion and urges the public to use public transport throughout the summit period.
